If I'm going to Donna's Swashbuckler Soiree I need to start getting ready. Now what shall I wear the Christmas Ballgown

or one of the creations from The Wenches Wardrobe
Actually I think that dagger might be useful you never know with those pirate types when things might get out of hand. I wonder if Donna knows that my pirate "friends" have burned the taverns of Port Royal down to the gound on twelve occasions already. And I'll have to be extra careful if I don't want my treasure map stolen
Of course they could always buy their own treasure maps The Interimaginational Institute for Fantastical Exploration & Cartography has a very nice selection.
I'm rather hoping that the food is going to be good, a little something from Laduree would make a nice change to the usual pirate fare of rats and boiled boot leather. I kid you not, life on the ocean waves can get a little tough from time to time. I think I'll take this cake to present to our kind hostess.
And I'll take a bottle or two of rum, you can never have too much rum at a pirate shindig
and we must make sure that there is nothing but the best for a certain someone who is bound to have been invited !
Right I think I'm ready to go off to the Soiree now, see you all there.
YO HO HO AND A BOTTLE OF RUM!!!
Last day of April's 30 day 30 photograph macro challenge and the beginning of the Bluebell season. The Macro challenge has been fun and the discipline of posting everyday has been good. I'm taking a couple of days rest now to prepare for one of the biggest events this season:
Pop over to Donna's to find out all about it. Hope to see you on Saturday.
